Multi-Language SEO Consulting

Most webmasters these days are recognizing the need to have multi-language websites. Of course having a site in a different language is only half the battle, you still need to get visitors to your site. That means that you are going to have to be able to do search engine optimization in the language that you are building your site to target.

When it comes to SEO in different languages it really is no different than it would be if you were doing it in English, except obviously for the language factor. The first thing that you are going to have to do is to make sure that your website is laid out properly. The search engines are going to look for the same things here that they do on English websites. Lots of good, well written content will also help; this is where a lot of multi-language sites run into problems. Most will use poorly translated content which will do them little good when it comes to their search engine optimization.

One of the problems that having poor quality translations on your site will cause is that nobody will want to link to your site. The most important factor in SEO is how many other sites link to yours, this requires that you have something on your site that they want to link to. Obviously that is not going to happen if the content of your site is low quality. You have to make sure that your translations are well done so that sites in the other languages you are targeting will want to link to you. Our friends at Las Vegas SEO have done extensive work in researching the value of targeting different language visitors; and their results have opened many eyes!

Of course in most cases when you are doing SEO you will put your own content online that will link to the site that you are trying to rank well. Obviously this is going to have to be in the language that you are trying to get your site to rank in. that means that you are going to have to write a lot of articles in this language and post them all over the net. In general it is easier to just have a native speaker write the articles from scratch rather than trying to translate them.

Most people will find that it is much easier to outsource their multi-language SEO to somebody with an expertise in that language. The challenge you will face otherwise besides the need to produce lots of content in this other language is that you have to know where to put it. Most SEO involves things like guest blogging, article submissions and similar steps. That means that you need to find blogs and article directories that are in the language that you are targeting. Trying to translate everything is going to be a major hassle, it is much easier to find somebody who speaks the language and have them do all of your multi-language SEO.
